# Remix a song

Give a song a new drop, a new tempo or a new genre, and keep its best parts.

## 1. Drop the song

Musical splits it into parts (vocals, drums, bass and the rest) and maps its sections, tempo and key, so it knows where the chorus is before it changes anything.

## 2. Ask for the remix

> Remix this into a club edit with a new drop

> Move it to 128 BPM with a four-on-the-floor kick

> Turn this into a synthwave version in the same key

## 3. Shape it

Review each change before and after, and keep only what works. Move and trim clips by hand, or select a few bars and ask about just those.
