Privacy policy
Updated October 26, 2026
Musical is run by Elzewhere LLC. This policy says what Musical keeps about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we keep
- Your account. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We never see your Google or GitHub password.
- Your projects. The songs you add, the parts you make and each project's history, so you can come back to them.
- Your use of Musical. What you ask Musical, the steps it takes to answer, which changes you keep, and how many credits your work uses.
- Your plan. Which plan you're on, when it renews, and the Stripe customer it belongs to. Your card details stay with Stripe; we never see them.
- In your browser. Your sign-in and a few settings. Musical also keeps its separation model there, so it downloads once; you can remove it in Settings.
How we use it
- To run Musical for you: to store your projects, answer your requests and play back your music.
- To keep Musical working and safe, and to help you when you write to us.
- To improve Musical, including how it understands requests and works on music. We keep requests and the steps taken to answer them for this.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts Musical. Supabase handles sign-in and stores projects. DeepSeek runs the language model that answers you: it receives your messages and what the studio measured about your music (tempo, chords, sections), not your audio files. Stripe handles payments: it receives your email address and payment details when you choose a plan.
We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
Your choices
To get a copy of your data, or to delete a project or your whole account, write to hello@musical.sh from the email you sign in with, or ask from Settings in the studio.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the studio or by email.
